Bobo! That means 'Hello!' here in Malawi. Braden here, I want to share with you guys about me and who I am!
I am 24 years old and living here in Malawi, Africa for a year. I am from Kaysville, Utah and grew up in a family with all sisters! After graduating High School, I lived in South America for two years in a country called Peru. Afterwards I went to college at Brigham Young University (BYU). There I studied Neuroscience (all about the brain), and am preparing to become a Doctor. After finishing school at BYU and before starting medical school, I decided to live in Africa for a year as a Fulbright Scholar. It is a government program where I get to teach in schools, help out at hospitals, and even coach a tennis team! They let me choose a country and I wanted to go to Malawi as I had never been to Africa before.
Did you know Malawi is nicknamed 'the warm heart of Africa'? It is true! I think you guys will come to see that as you read about my adventures and stories. I can't wait to share and hope you guys are as interested as I am about this special place and people. I am also excited to meet you guys and I hope we can become good friends! Zikomo!
