The captains know they need to turn if they can't see white so they avoid a collision course with the island.
Since I haven't been off the island in almost two weeks, I'm running a little low on snacks. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to take a day to go grocery shopping soon so I can buy some more manís (peanuts) and galletas (cookies). Peanuts are a good snack in the field. Cookies, especially the coconut cookies that are popular in Panama, are a tasty treat after dinner.
