Traveler Bio

¡Hola chicos! Hello boys and girls! My name is Bri Botello. I am 19 years old and I am from Houston, Texas. My family and I are from a beautiful place called Mexico. When I was a little girl, I lived in Mexico and I loved going to the market in town to buy tacos and dulces (candy) with my grandpa, watching Dora la exploradora, and learning about my culture and my language!

When I moved to the United States, I learned to speak English and learned all about American culture. Soon enough, I started eating hot dogs and pizza instead of tacos and I began to watch shows like Scooby-Doo and Spongebob instead of Dora! Despite learning about a whole new culture, I never stopped loving my Mexican one. I learned to love and appreciate both!

To continue learning, I moved from Texas to New York to study reading and history at Colgate University. This school year, I am studying in Madrid, Spain! When I grow up, my dream is to be a Spanish teacher. I want to teach little boys and girls, just like you, how to explore new worlds through the magic of reading!

I hope that all of you are as excited as me to learn about all the different cultures and places around the world. Stick with me so I can tell you all about my fun and exciting adventures in Spain!
