Traveler Bio

Hello! My name is Bryneé, and I’m so excited to meet you! I was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and I’m African American. In my free time, I like to bake (my favorite is cookies!), listen to music, and go on morning walks. Growing up in the South, I’ve always liked sunny weather so I spent a lot of time outdoors. When I wasn’t outside, I watched TV shows with my family. Although I love my hometown, I've always dreamed of moving to California. That dream became a reality when I moved to Los Angeles to study psychology at the University of Southern California!

My favorite class was called "The African Diaspora" where we learned about the unique cultures of African people across the continent (and the world!). I learned a lot about African history, and I loved the class so much that it inspired me to travel to Africa!

I am eager to expand my knowledge of psychology with an African worldview and I'm also very excited to share my journey in Cape Town with you all! I can't wait to hear from you throughout the semester!
