We all agreed that the chips were delicious, which, if you remember, really meant that the french fries were delicious! (Chips means french fries in England!)
Finally, we went to Agatha Christie's summer home called Greenway. It was a beautiful home with a piano, and some of the tourists played live music for us! I was so excited to find the room with all of her first editions of novels. As a souvenir, I bought her book, Dead Man's Folly, which takes place on the Greenway property. The cashier even stamped the inside cover with a special stamp, as proof that I bought it at Greenway! I can't wait to read it and picture myself back at Agatha Christie’s house. We finished the day with tea and scones, followed by a long bus ride back to Bath.
Overall, I had an exciting adventure exploring the world of British Detective Fiction!
