Finally, I hope reading the entries has also demonstrated that while this place is across the world and might feel very far away, the people here and their routines are much more like your lives in New York than you'd think: students focusing on their classes and their sports teams, families sharing dinner together daily, friends relishing in reaching an air-conditioned room on a hot day, siblings having never-ending rivalries, groups of teenagers hanging out at the mall and movie theater on the weekends, weddings bringing together friends and families and a shared love of food.
