From this spot, I could see both the crashing coastline and the old medieval city walls that were built hundreds of years ago. The view was spectacular!
This week, I learned that in Spain, people have adopted the tradition of Black Friday shopping. Even though Spaniards do not celebrate Thanksgiving, stores still have special sales during the week after American Thanksgiving. I found it interesting that even though my students were not familiar with Thanksgiving food or traditions, they are very familiar with Black Friday shopping!
