Chao, Colombia!

I can’t imagine my life without them now, and I almost never met them because of my fear. Second, I think about international perspectives regarding Colombia. Many people reacted negatively when I told them I was going to live in Colombia because of negative stereotypes. I hope my amazing experience changes their minds and they come here to meet the kind people waiting here to receive them. There are no strangers, only future friends. May we never let fear get in the way of what could be the best friendships of our lives!

There are a million more travel-related quotes I could share, but I encourage you all to search for some of your own, because they are very inspiring. For now, instead of citing more of the words of others, let’s discover our own. Let’s be inspired by the words of others, but also dare to add our own feelings to the dialogue about the wonders of travel. That’s one thing I love about learning a new language. It’s a whole new world of words and phrases in which to experience life. May we continue discovering these words to fill the pages of our lives. Like the quote at the beginning says, a piece of my heart will always be with Colombia, but another part will be with you, the people I've shared this fantastic journey with . Go out and spread pieces of your own hearts all over this globe. You won’t be losing anything because, as you’ll quickly find, your heart grows a bit with each new destination.

Chao, estudiantes! Bye, students! See you later!
