Ciao, piacere! (Hi, nice to meet you!) My name is Charlotte, and I am currently an exchange student at the Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (all the students here just call it Cattolica). My school is in Milan, Italy right in the center of the city. I’ll be spending this spring semester immersing myself in Italian culture, learning new things, and traveling around Europe! I’m excited to go through this journey together! I grew up in Kaysville, Utah, and am studying Chemistry and Math at Utah State University.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been very curious about the world around me. When I was a little girl, I would spend hours in my grandma’s backyard with my magnifying glass and bug habitat looking for new bugs or plants. As I got a little older (around your age, 3rd grade!), I began to really love reading. Books are such a great way to explore the lives of real people, fantasy worlds, mysterious detectives, and so much more! Through reading all different types of books, I grew my desire to experience more of the world. I have always wanted to understand people from all different places in the world, and see the amazing places other people call home!
