Hi! My name is Charlotte and I’m from Kaysville, Utah. I grew up right next to the mountains, so some of my favorite things to do are outdoors; I love backpacking, hiking, hammocking, and watching beautiful sunsets. In high school, I learned that I absolutely love chemistry. I’m now a sophomore at Utah State University studying Environmental Chemistry; a combination of my two favorite things! I love my professors, my classes, and my roommates- go Aggies!
During my first semester at USU, I learned that Utah State offers some really great study abroad programs. I immediately knew I wanted to go because I love trying new things! I think traveling is such a great way to gain perspective and grow. This spring, I’m spending the semester as an international exchange student at the Unviersita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, Italy. I’m studying Italian culinary tradition, language, and history of the Mafia.

I’m on an exchange through the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP). My journey is completely funded by scholarships and financial aid. I’m supported by the Utah State Honors Program, Utah State Study Abroad Office, and the Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship Program.
