To become an explorer, there is no one way to go. That is what makes every story unique. I myself had so many different passions as a child, and the best part is that they all stuck as I grew older!

I started as a young, enthusiastic hockey player looking to perform at the highest level and become better every single day. This first experience, which I started even before preschool, forged my character in so many different ways. It taught me hard work, leadership, resilience (falling down and getting back up) and to truly love what I do. I was lucky enough to carry this experience in everything else I tackled later in life, from school to work, and all the way to the field when working on kangaroos.

Aside from my sport, being a child of immigrants also helped me see the world for its richness. People have roots from all over and that contributes to their character. I am very aware of the upbringing I had and how it led to the individual I am today. My parents came in their early twenties to Canada with the hopes to build a family and give them the best environment in which to grow up.
