¡Hola! Hello! My name is Chloe Milkowski, and I am very grateful to say that I will be an English Teaching Assistant as a Fulbright ETA this year in Galicia, Spain. I am from Long Island, New York, and attended Clemson University in South Carolina as an elementary education major.

Coming to Spain and having the opportunity to be in a school is something I am very excited to be a part of. During my time in Spain, I want to learn more about the way students learn different languages and the different strategies and techniques to promote engaging language learning. I am also very excited to explore the culture of Galicia and specifically the city where I am located, which is A Coruña. The school I am located at is a plurilingual school: the languages include Spanish, English, and Gallego (which is a language spoken in Galicia, Spain). Some of my hobbies include: reading, dancing, playing tennis, and photography. While I am in Spain, I will include how I am able to participate in different hobbies and how it looks similar and different from my life in the United States! I am very excited for you to follow along on my journey this year in Spain and for the year to come!
