Moving to a different country was scary at first--I was very nervous, and didn't know what to expect. However, I was brave and I pushed myself to move because I knew this was my dream! It has been such an amazing experience, so far. Teaching English has been such a rewarding experience! I have loved bringing American culture to Spain and teaching students about American culture and traditions, too! For example, we learned all about Halloween with spooky stories, and we just learned about Thanksgiving and made hand turkeys together. I hope you have enjoyed our culture exchange, and learning more about a different culture, too.
I want to end by saying that this has been such a fun experience, and I am glad I was able to share my journey with you! I will be traveling home to New York for the holidays, but then I will be back in Spain until June, which is the end of the school year in Spain. I still have so much I want to learn and places to see, but with that being said, I encourage you to follow your dreams! The possibilities are endless. This isn't a goodbye, it's a chao (goodbye) for now!
