Traveler Bio

Hello, my name is Citlalli (pronounced "Sit-la-lee") and I am from Chicago, Illinois. I first became interested in pursuing a global experience when my friend, Hibah, shared with me that she wanted to be an anthropologist. I asked her what that was, and she told me that it was the study of people, culture, and communication. I realized pretty quickly that anthropology is fascinating, and decided that it was what I wanted to study, too! I started searching for a virtual experience that would help me gain new perspectives on different cultures.

Fast-forward to me recent virtual internship with SUCCESS (Sindh Union Council and Community Economic Strengthening Support) in Islamabad, Pakistan. During this internship, I helped organize the content of their website in order to better inform others of their mission. I learned so much, and I'm excited to share this global experience with you!
