Hello! My name is Colin Heinrich, and I'm the head of the Impact department at a travel company called Indagare. I focus on making travel better for the planet, even while it's already so enriching for you personally. I'm headed to Costa Rica, and I hope you'll join me!
Costa Rica is one of the most wild places on Earth. It has more biodiversity (or the number of different kinds of animals and plants in one area) than just about anywhere else! Costa Rica is also a leader in sustainability, which means making sure that environment stays healthy over time. As a country, Costa Rica works to protect its unique ecosystem and reduce the creation of polution or the need to cut down trees. I'm really interested to learn how they do this, and I hope you are, too.
During our virtual exchange, I'll take you along as I visit one of the world's great wonders, meet Costa Rica's unique wildlife, sample many new foods, and seek answers to some of the questions you have about this unique place. Through published articles, short videos, and live video calls along the way, we'll experience Costa Rica's rich culture and natural grandeur together.
