My adventure in Australia has come to an end. I have enjoyed every minute of the nearly five months I spent in Sydney. I was able to learn so much in and out of the classroom. From my classes and research to exploring many parts of Australia, I learned a lot and I had so much fun. By now, all of you know my favorite part of Australia. It was the beaches! I will miss the beaches and seeing the sun almost every day. Besides the amazing weather and beautiful sights, I think I will miss my friends the most. I was able to make so many new friends from all over the world. Of course, I made Australian friends but some of the closests friends I made were from Switzerland, Germany, France and Austria. Going so far away from home was a challenge but it was also one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I had to say goodbye to Australia but am happy to say "hello" to all of my friends and family at home, and especially to one very special classroom in Lyons!
