Income and Labor Laws in Ghana

How can these people keep up their livelihoods if they get ill? What if they are robbed, or lose access to the items they need to sell in order to live? With income being so low, children are forced to leave school early, and join the same paths in life as their parents. It isn't uncommon to have a 10-year-old child trying to sell you a bottle of water from the window of your trotro! Low education can make it harder for those same children to change jobs later in life, so they're stuck in the same low income, poor working condition jobs that leave them so far below the poverty line. I believe that the Ghanaian government should be implementing more laws and social services to help insure that all Ghanaians are able to live comfortably!
