The coolest thing I saw in nature this week in Dublin was the waves crashing against the rocky coastline during a windy afternoon. Even though I was freezing, I was in awe of how powerful and dramatic the ocean looked under the gray sky. Living on an island makes me really notice how intense and beautiful the sea can be. It felt wild but peaceful at the same time.
Besides the dramatic coastline, I've noticed how green everything stays thanks to the constant rain. The parks look super alive, and the moss on the trees almost glows against the gray sky. Living here has really shown me how rain shapes the environment: it's cold and gloomy, but still incredibly vibrant.
