This week in Dublin, the weather has been consistently cold and rainy, with that classic gray, overcast sky that seems to linger all day. Since Ireland is an island, the wind coming off the water makes everything feel even colder, especially compared to the milder, sunnier climate we're used to in California. We had one sunny day, which felt like a small victory, but it was still pretty chilly.
While I've been in Dublin, I've actually seen several foxes, which surprised me. What's interesting is how comfortable they seem around people here. Some even let you get fairly close. They're honestly pretty cute and don't come across as threatening at all. Compared to the foxes back home in California, where you'd probably keep your distance, the foxes here seem almost like neighborhood pets.
