Taking public transportation does connect you to the culture and environment. For example, the buses make frequent stops at red lights, and you see people trying to sell street food! Public transportation also reveals how generous Ecuadorians are. Today, I saw a lady lend a passenger her card because his card did not have enough money. I enjoy seeing Ecuador's culture and how nice people are!
