Six weeks goes by pretty fast, doesn't it? I just wanted to thank you all for joining me on my Australian journey. I'm so happy I got to tell you all about the culture and happenings here, and I hope you enjoyed it, too!
Australia is different and very far away from home. I've never been this far before and honestly never thought I would end up studying abroad, much less attend college. However, that's the whole reason I wanted to do Reach The World and show you all this. I didn't come from family that expected us all to go to college, as I grew up with five other siblings and a single mom raising us all. It was quite difficult growing up, and I didn't go to college right away because I had to work instead. But I didn't let that stop me from going to college, and this was honestly the best decision I've ever made in my life. My education has opened up so many opportunities, and I've learned so much about myself during my college career.
I guess my point in this journal is to say that no matter what your background is, or where you came from, you can do anything that you want to do. You can achieve anything you want to achieve no matter who says otherwise. If I had believed my future to be as limited as some had said, I wouldn't be where I am today.
