I didn't travel far this week. I mostly stayed within the city center. I live in a nice suburb called West End that's located, as you might have guessed, on the west end of the city by the river. The radio station is on the east side of they city in a place called Fortitude Valley. Brisbane's downtown area lies between the two, so I pass through it while commuting to work or home.
I've explored most of the east coast of Australia, and I plan on going to the northeast to visit Townsville and the Great Barrier Reef. Unfortunately, I'll either need to either drive for about 15 hours or buy an expensive plane ticket in order to get there.
I got around mostly by bus and on foot. These are probably the best ways to commute, maybe better than driving. Parking is extremely expensive downtown and in Fortitude Valley.
The radio station never ceases to interest me. A lot of listeners send in art to be posted on the station wall and shared on social media, so there's always something new to enjoy.
