Hey! I'm Daniel, and I'm studying language in the city of Bordeaux in southwest France. I'm also taking classes in Cinema and Middle Eastern Studies, but the bulk of my time in classes is spent practicing French! was studying French in the U.S. for more than a year, and I thought that coming to France would be the fastest and best way to learn how French is spoken. It has taken some time to get used to being in a new place, but by connecting with university students from all over the world, I have begun to find a home away from home.
I've never been super positive about what I wanted to do in the world of film, so I just knew that I wanted to give myself as many options as possible. Learning French and learning about the different kinds of paths that art students here in France take to pursue their passions has very much opened my views about what is possible for me. Even though I've only been here for a couple of months, I feel like I've gained so much new perspective and I'm looking forward to sharing my stories and experiences with you all!
