I hope that this blog has helped you to learn more about Spain and what it's like to live abroad! I want you all to know that I am so happy I got to share this journey with you all. It was so fun to answer all of your questions over Skype. As I told all of you, living in Spain has been one of the best experiences of my life. The weather, language, food, pace of life and personal growth here have all been such a blessing.
However, the time has come for me to start thinking about returning to the United States. An authentic New York City bagel shop opened here in Madrid last month, and when I went the amazing bagels immediately made me miss being home (Spanish bagels just aren't the same). I am also very excited to live closer to my family and friends again. Spain has my heart, and I will miss this adventure (and you all!) so much!
If reading this blog or following my journey has been exciting to you in any way, I really recommend that you yourself consider living abroad in the future! This may sound like a crazy dream, but if you work hard in school, get good grades, and take advantage of opportunities that come your way, it truly is possible to make the world much smaller! Dream big!
