Salve (hello)! My name is Diana. I am twenty years old and currently studying abroad in Rome, Italy! This is my first time traveling outside of the United States and it has been great! I am from New Brunswick, New Jersey but I go to school at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington.
Fun fact: my first time on an airplane was when I left New Jersey to move across the country to go to college! I am a politics major with a global studies concentration and a history minor. As a part of my study abroad experiences, I chose to take an intensive Italian class alongside politics and art history classes. I am incredibly grateful to be studying in Rome, Italy as a recipient of the U.S. Department of State's Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship. Living in Italy has introduced me to various cultural differences which have taught me a lot about living abroad. I am so excited to share what it is like to live in Rome, Italy with you all as we get to know more about each other. Let's go!
