Journal Entry:

I am thrilled to be in the United States of America, a country that is extremely rich in terms of diversity and cultures. It is a part of the continent of North America and comprises of 50 different states all unified under the former national motto E Pluribus Unum ("from many, one"). The 50 different states are also represented as 50 different stars in the flag of the nation. I live in a small college town called Bloomington in the state of Indiana which is a state in the Mid-west. It is a beautiful place with lots of trees and fields. I have been here for six months now and I have seen this place change, from green in spring to gold and red in autumn to grey in winter. I have experienced wonderful warm sunny days to really cold snowy days. Coming from India, which is generally very hot all around the year, I am totally in love with the distinct seasons here in Indiana.

Back in India, I studied in various cities like Kolkata, Lucknow, and New Delhi before I finally settled in Bangalore where I was teaching at Christ University. I taught various courses in the domain of language, specifically English, and I totally loved my job. My students were an excited and inquisitive bunch and it was really fun to engage in discussions with them.
