The main languages spoken here are Greek and English. I have had a few situations where the person I was speaking to did not understand what I was saying in English. Most people that I hear are speaking Greek and only speak English when talking to tourists. At every resturaunt I visited, the menus were in Greek, so ordering food was actually pretty difficult if they did not have an English version.
Greece uses the euro, Everything here is cheaper than London, which really helps me out. The bills look similar to those in London, but essentially they are just worth less.
For an eight pack of water I paid two euros, which is insanely cheap. That is .25 euros per bottle, or around 25 cents per bottle.
The best meal this week has been fried calamari, which is simply just fried squid. It was so good that I had to have it twice! Before this trip I had never tasted it. It cost only about 13 euros.
