Over the past weekend, I traveled about 840 miles (a 2.5-hour plane ride) to Barcelona, Spain, with my roommates! We had a lot of fun and went to the beach. This upcoming weekend, I have even more travel plans, as I am traveling about 900 miles to Bordeaux, France! My aunts live in the countryside there, and I have not gotten a chance to visit them before.
I haven't traveled extremely far during my study abroad, but I have visited a handful of cities. So far, I've been able to travel to Vienna, Austria; Berlin, Germany; Rome, Italy; and Barcelona, Spain. I also have plans to go to Nice, France, at the end of April.
Some of my roommates have traveled super far and shown me cool pictures from Norway, Scotland, England, Paris (France) and countries in Africa!
In Prague, there is excellent public transportation. We have the bus, the tram (a cross between a bus and a train that travels on the street) and the metro (a subway). There is a pass that you can get that lets you travel on all three throughout the city.
When I go to the airport, I take a Bolt, which is essentially the cheaper European version of Uber.
