El Diario Final - The Final Journal

Thank you for following along with my Spring cycle journey during my time in Argentina!

I have learned so much along the way about this beautiful and culturally rich country through sharing journals, field notes and photos through Reach the World. As I still have six months left here, I look forward to seeing how much more that I will learn and in how many more ways I will grow. That's one of the many amazing outcomes about learning a new language and immersing yourself in a new culture...you gain a whole new perspective and new knowledge about yourself, another culture, your own culture, others and overall, the world in which we live. 

Some things that I have learned along the way so far:

• Always make time for people. There is always room in a day for those that matter to you. Relationships are important, and the culture here in Argentina shows that. For example, if you see a friend walking past in the street here, you stop and take the time to truly chat with them, to give them a greeting of a beso (kiss) on the cheek and if you're late to wherever you're going...that's quite alright, relationships are more important than punctuality here!
• Take time to rest and recharge. In the U.S.
