While at the airport waiting for our flight to Osh, we saw a large ensemble playing traditional Russian and Kyrgyz music. As it turns out, that day was the beginning of the "Days of Russian Culture in Kyrgyzstan." The young men and women were there to welcome Russian government officials as they flew in from Moscow.
