你好 (nǐ hǎo)! Hello! My name is Elizabeth and I am currently on a U.S. Fulbright grant to teach English in Taiwanese public schools. I live in a small town called Lukang, which is in the middle of Taiwan on the western side of the island. I love exploring my town and the surrounding area. I am originally from a suburb of Philadelphia and went to college in Los Angeles. During college, I had the chance to study abroad in Taiwan and I fell in love with the country and its people. Over these past few months living in Lukang, I have had the chance to try so many new things and learn about what makes Taiwan unique and amazing. I hope you, too, will get to see what a special place it is, and I can't wait to share it with you!
