Hello! My name is Ella and I am living in the center city of the Czech Republic, Prague, which has an amazing town square with lots of fun activities! I am from Pennsylvania, but I go to college in New York on one of the Finger Lakes. At college, I study Anthropology and Sociology, but, in Prague, I take a lot of religion classes, which are so interesting because of the rich history in central Europe. When I graduate college, I want to work with a nonprofit organization to help communities in need. I also enjoy going for runs around the city, hanging out with my friends, and making pottery. I love spending time outdoors, so I'm very excited for the weather to get warm in Prague!
Prague is an amazing city with beautiful gothic and baroque architecture-style buildings that have stayed standing since before World War II. The city is known for the Charles Bridge which runs through the middle of the town with statues that go along the whole bridge. Across this bridge, you will find the Prague Castle, which is the largest castle complex in the world! Another famous spot to visit in Prague is the Old Town Square that divides the city into four quarters and is home to the astronomical clock. This clock is the oldest functioning astronomical clock since 1410.
Since I study people and culture, living in another country where there is such a wide variety of religion, culture, food, and history is a great opportunity for me to learn new information. One of my passions is traveling, so I will also be visiting many other cities and countries and I can't wait to share my experiences with you all!
