Traveler Bio

Salut! Hello! My name is Ella, and I am from a small town near Salt Lake City, Utah. Growing up, I loved doing anything to do with the outdoors: hiking, running, skiing, camping, etc. Utah is a great place for my hobbies, as it has some of the most beautiful nature in the whole United States (at least I think so!).

I graduated from the University of Utah (go Utes!) and majored in economics. After I finished school, I decided to join the Peace Corps. I became a volunteer because I wanted to experience living in a different country, and learn about a different country’s culture, history, and language. Due to my background, I chose to join the economic sector in the Community Organizational Development program. I have lived in the Republic of Moldova since last October. As a Peace Corps Volunteer, I live in a village with a host family and spend my time working with community organizations like the mayor's office and youth center. I can't wait to share more of my work here with you! When I'm not at work or doing language practice, I love traveling to see more of the country.

I’m thrilled to have you joining me on my journey! Pe curând! See you soon!
