This week I left from Rome to arrive in Florence, Italy. Here, it is referred to as Firenze, translating to "flowering" or "to bloom" - very fitting for this week's rundown of the nature I saw!
This week, my class took a two-day trip to the city of Venice, Italy! Venice is often nicknamed "The Floating City", as it consists of 126 islands, separated by canals and connected by 450+ bridges.
