See You On the Thai Side!

Learning to navigate official matters such as visa extensions and even university courses here has made me learn to be flexible with my plans and to discover when and how to adjust to changes.
  • Patience is a virtue. Having been in Thailand for a little under six weeks, I now have more of a handle on how to navigate myself through the city, but it has been a learning process. Throughout it, I had to learn not just to be patient with other people, but also with myself. Adjusting to a new culture and city does not happen overnight. However, with an open mind, will to learn and patience, I am sure I will be able to navigate successfully through the rest of my five-month exchange.

I hope I was able to give you all some new perspective and insight into Thailand. More importantly, I hope you will someday come visit to form your own opinion. Laa-gàwn!
