Traveler Bio

Hello everyone! My name is Emily Flores and I am originally from Santa Barbara, California. When I was in elementary school, I enjoyed going hiking, playing with ladybugs and baking chocolate chip cookies. These days, I'm fourth-year college student at the University of San Francisco, studying psychology.

One of my biggest passions is traveling and interacting with different cultures because it's always nice to learn how others live according to their own personal values. This semester, I decided to study in Denmark because it seemed like a very peaceful country and I heard they had really delicious pastries!

I hope that you decide to follow me along on this journey to Denmark. Finally, I hope that we can all learn something new about ourselves, each other, and--of course--Denmark!

I am a Fund for Education Abroad scholarship recipient. The mission of the Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) is to provide scholarships and ongoing support to students who are underrepresented among the U.S. study abroad population. FEA aims to support students of color, first-generation college, and community college students with award amounts up to $10,000 for an academic year abroad.
