Traveler Bio

¡Hola! Hello! My name is Emily Wilson, and I am 22 years old. I am from Atlanta, Georgia but was born in Greenville, South Carolina. Since I can remember, I have always found art interesting. Growing up, I loved to draw and play piano, and I started making short films with my friends in middle school. Once I graduated high school, I went to Georgia State University to study film. In film school, I decided to improve my video editing skills and eventually got my editing certification. After graduating college, I worked as a pianist for a summer camp theater in Maine. I then became a video editor for a company that creates training content for people learning to use Microsoft software. At the start of 2022, I received my acceptance into the U.S. Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Program (ETA) in Madrid, Spain. As part of the program, I am working with film professors from the Universidad de Camilo Jose Cela to help students strengthen their English language skills. I know this will become an exciting and life-changing experience, and I look forward to sharing this journey with you!
