Emma's Research

Hospitals routinely store dried blood samples from infants, and by testing these archived samples, we can trace back and detect the presence of maternal autoantibodies that would no longer be detectable in the child by age 5 or 6. This method could help establish a link between maternal autoantibodies and the development of autism later in life.

As the leader of this project, I am committed to conducting meaningful scientific research and aspire to continue making significant contributions to the field as a physician in the future.
