Hi friends! My name is Emma, and. I'm from Westchester, NY. I went to Columbia University for my undergraduate education. At Columbia, I studied biomedical engineering, and I was involved in research in the fields of physics and nanotechnology. I also was part of the ski team, sorority Sigma Delta Tau, and co-founded a pre-professional engineering society. Since graduating, I worked as a consultant for a year and a half. I left NYC to pursue a Fulbright Scholarship, and I intend to pursue medical school when I return to the U.S. In Berlin, I've been able to hone my research skills through my current research investigating pediatric neurology and immunology. I also joined a basketball team here, and I've gotten to know the other 20 scholars in Berlin. I'm excited to meet more new people and continue to explore the city!
