He plays the guitar and plays all sorts of music genres from Argentina, like the chamamé, the chacarera, and the loncomeo. On Friday, we hiked up a hill near the city to record him playing some songs. I always love hearing him play!
Getting to see my dad and show him around Argentina was a lot of fun. I felt like an expert travel guide! We went on lots of hikes and ate lots of tasty food.
I have been spending lots of time studying the Mapuzugun language. I have several dictionaries of the language that have been very helpful in learning new vocabulary and grammar.
My dad and I did lots of hiking this week! In Bariloche, we hiked in the Llao Llao Municipal Park and Nahuel Huapi National Park. In Esquel, we hiked in Los Alerces National Park. We saw mountains, trees, flowers, rivers and lagoons of all sorts!
