Hello! My name is Estrella, and I am 20 years old. I am from a small ski town in Colorado called Silverthorne, and I love the mountains. I live with my mom, dad, aunt, and little sister. We also have a dog and three cats! My dog’s name is Fabi, and she is my best friend. I spend a lot of time outside and love snowboarding, hiking, and rock climbing. I also love to paint! At home, I work at a preschool and love it there. We spend a lot of time playing outside and taking field trips.
I am in my third year of college and am spending it in Costa Rica! I grew up going to Costa Rica because my dad is from there. My dad’s family still lives there. I am excited to spend this year abroad because I get to see my family, and I am especially happy to see my grandma. I am going to Costa Rica to study Spanish and intern at a preschool. I already know Spanish, but I am not fluent. I hope that when I come back from Costa Rica, I will be fluent in Spanish. Costa Rica is also beautiful. It is a small country, but it has many different animals and plants. Even in the city, there are so many flowers everywhere!
