It is getting warmer now in Taiwan. So lately, I have been wearing more tee shirts and skirts. The summers here can get very hot and it can rain quite a bit. The average high for May in Taiwan is 84° F.
When I am not taking graduate school or Chinese classes, I enjoy going to museums. There are so many museums in Taiwan and there is a thriving art scene here! I enjoyed learning more about Asian art and Taiwanese artists.
Currently, I am taking 16 hours a week of Chinese Mandarin class. I have a tutor who I met four days a week and then I take group classes two days a week at my school. If you want to say "hello" in Mandarin Chinese, you can say "你好" (Nǐ hǎo).
I do not have any pets.
I have traveled to a few countries. I was born in London and lived there for seven years. My mom's family is from Singapore, so I try to visit my family there every couple of years. I have also traveled to Japan, Indonesia, France, Spain, Germany and Italy.
I am currently a graduate student at Fu Jen Catholic University studying brand and fashion management. I am studying in Taiwan under the U.S. Fulbright Student Program.
