I must have traveled around 25 miles this week, going around town by bus and walking to the beach.
I traveled by plane from New York to Dubrovnik, which is about 4,500 miles! Then, 290 miles going from Dubrovnik to Split and back by car. Plus, the ferry ride to and from Vis was around 80 miles.
I mainly traveled by bus and walking.
The most interesting place I visited this week was the fresh produce market. While grocery shopping might seem like a normal activity, I think the open air markets here are really special. Farmers from the surrounding areas bring their fruits and vegetables to Dubrovnik early in the morning to sell during the day. I love to buy tomatoes, zucchini, apples, clementines, lettuce, eggplants and more! You can really taste the difference in the quality of food here since it is grown locally.
