In our class, there are TWO kids named Moritz! This is a very common name in Germany. At our school there are a lot of girls named Hanna and Helene, and a lot of boys named Tobias and Jakob.
We take math, science, P.E., history, religion, sociology, art, music and English. We all have different favorite subjects. Miss Youmans made a joke that we should write “English” as our favorite subject, because that’s the one she teaches.
Sometimes we have to write a lot, or do a lot of math problems. For English, we usually need to read a text and answer questions about it, or memorize new vocabulary.
Many kids like to play soccer, read books, or watch T.V. In our class, almost everyone likes to play Minecraft and Fortnite.
We like Taylor Swift a lot! There is also a famous German rapper named Cro. He always wears a panda mask when he sings his songs, which we think is pretty funny.
