Our class has a lot of ideas about what we want to be. One of us really wants to work in an airport, to tell the planes when it’s ok to fly. Another one of us wants to be a famous author. Some of us want to travel to America and go to Hollywood to become famous!
Lots of us want to go to America! Like to California, or to New York City, or Hawaii.
The United States sounds like a really big place. Miss Youmans hasn’t been to Hollywood, and she’s from America! We know that lots of famous people come from America, and that there are lots of big cities like New York or San Francisco or Chicago. We also know that fast food places like McDonalds come from America.
