The distance between Trier and Lahnstein is around 90 miles, and I also ended up walking around 40 miles total last week.
I’ve mostly stayed in my own little area in Germany, which is still 3,932 miles away from State College, Pennsylvania.
This week I walked around a lot, even hiking up the mountain to get to the castle. But I also took a train to get to Lahnstein, and even walked around on a boat too!
Watching the little towns passing by me while I was on the train was really interesting! Since it’s fall now, it was really cool to see how the towns along the train tracks look different when the seasons change.
I learned that there are a lot of boat tours nearby! People still sometimes travel from town to town by boat along the Rhine river.
