Traveler Bio

Hello, friends! My name is Frida, and I’m so excited to share my journey with you! I was born in Mexico, but when I was in elementary school, my family moved to the United States. I graduated from Turlock High School and then attended community college before transferring to UC Merced to study Economics.

Now, I’m on a new adventure in Lund, Sweden! I’ll be here for an entire school year, learning new things and experiencing life in a completely different country. Sweden is known for its beautiful forests, cozy little towns, and its delicious cinnamon buns called "kanelbullar." Yum!

So far, I’ve been exploring Lund, which is a charming and historic city with cobblestone streets, colorful buildings, and a very famous cathedral that is over 900 years old! I’m also enjoying learning some Swedish words — "hej" means "hello" and "tack" means "thank you." It’s so much fun to practice speaking a new language every day!

I can’t wait to share more stories about my travels, the cool things I learn in my classes, and all the friends I make along the way. I hope you’ll enjoy reading about my experiences, and I would love to hear about your adventures too, whether they’re near or far. Let’s explore the world together!
