When I first came here, the weather was extremely hot. However, as the seasons change, the weather is beginning to get cooler and a bit rainy. Although the rain doesn't usually last for very long.
For the most part, the animals I've seen this week have been birds and bugs. No kangaroos, koalas or wombats yet, but there is still a possiblity!
I think the coolest thing I saw in nature this week was the sulphur-crested cockatoo, a tropical bird that I've only ever seen in the movie Rio.
As the seasons change, the weather has gotten slightly cooler, windier and ranier. So far, the coldest it's gotten was in the mid-60s, and it has been raining a bit more lately. I wonder if this would be considered their rainy season?
