Since this is such a dry country, people do try to use less water, here. The government keeps a close watch on the Dead Sea to try to prevent it shrinking further. They have also turned some of the areas near the Dead Sea into nature preserves. This means that people have to respect nature in these areas, so they cannot leave trash or stay there long!
These are two of the many ways people try to keep the Dead Sea area clean, and keep the Dead Sea itself around for future generations to enjoy!
