Farewell - Adventure Awaits!

My mind ran wild because I thought travel could only be a fantasy! I did not have enough money to travel. For me, traveling was like the candy you ask for in the grocery store. I had attached my hopes to the idea of traveling, just to be told, "No." However, I still craved new experiences. I did not want to be afraid of what was lying outside of my hometown. The challenges I met were like rocks in the road.

When I finally became a young adult, I made it to my dream of traveling. I took a step off the plane into the humid air. I was in Argentina! I could feel the pit of my stomach filled with nerves. I had a backpack strapped to my back. After the two-day journey, my eyes teared up. I could feel my heart dancing with joy as I saw the chaotic city unfold in front of me. I was ready to merge into a new culture.

I was abroad! I was traveling and my wildest dreams were coming true. The hours I spent at a desk writing furiously, the nights I spent awake with just a dim light to finish projects, and the numerous language exams were all worth it. They helped to get me here, living a dream I thought would never be realized. I never stopped dreaming - and now I am surrounded by lime-green mountains. The air around me is floating with the smell of homemade bread. Every day is filled with hugs from my Argentine friends! I have never felt so full of happiness. The adventure has only just started!

My advice to you is, "Do not throw away your dreams because you think they will not be possible! Do not let anyone tell you that you will never make it."

The adventurer inside you is waiting to see the world.  You will meet people who will change your life. You will eat food you love and hate.
